What to bring!
The weather in PEI during October and November can offer warm hunts or cold wet ones. Bring clothing that can match these conditions as they can vary from day to day.
It is best to layer clothes as some periods will be spent sitting in the blind and may be chilly; but if the weather warms, some layers may be removed. Camouflage clothing is an asset but any dark colored clothing can be worn in the blind. If you plan to do some duck hunting, waders are recommended.
To hunt in PEI you will need the Canadian Migratory Game Bird Hunting Permit and the PEI wildlife permit. Both are available from Malpeque Bay Canada Goose Outfitters.
The birds are decoyed close enough for most shotguns to be lethal; however, most of our hunters bring 10 and 12 gauge shotguns. Non-Toxic ammunition must be used while hunting migratory game birds in PEI.
We go out of our way to provide a relaxing, fun shoot, and supply just about everything else you would require. All you need to bring is a good shooting eye, some enthusiasm, and don't forget the camera!
