The Canada Goose is the most common waterfowl found feeding on the rich agricultural fields of Prince Edward Island, and most of these originate in Newfoundland and Labrador. Malpeque Bay Canada Goose Outfitters are goose hunters first and foremost, but we can accommodate other fowl hunters as well. Goose hunts take place on fields with crops such as wheat, barley, potato, or corn using pit blinds and hedgerow blinds. After driving to the blind you may help our professional guides set out the mix of shell and full-bodied decoys with some "stuffers" as well.

Geese are called professionally into close shooting ranges for a good clean harvest, and are often tolled in near enough for light gauge shotguns to be lethal (ie. 20 gauge). Limits are 5 geese and 6 ducks per day with a possession limit of twice the daily bag. Geese can be cleaned yourself or may be processed by a local plucker for a minimal fee.

Season dates range from the first Monday in October to mid December, with no hunting on Sundays.
